You were really resourceful to figure out a way to make a video with the webcam. Very cool. And I like the tricks too.
I'm sure you could hear that the audio was kind of quiet. I wonder if there is some way to boost it?
Usually it's better to get good sound when you record it than to raise the level afterwards. That might mean that the simplest thing in this case would be for you to talk louder.
Keep on experimenting with it to see what works best.
Film making is always about doing the best you can with what you've got. Even spielberg has got limits with his equipment he has to live within. So learning how to make the most of your equipment, whatever it is, is great problem solving practice.
